Using Cross-Curriculum Instruction to Engage Students and Improve Performance

Students and teachers are more involved in learning when topics address benchmarks and big ideas across content areas.  Best practices and ideas to guide instruction across the curriculum are provided in this workshop to foster and enhance the efforts of teachers to engage all students. 

Come prepared to learn how differentiated instruction of the annual assessed concepts across content areas will help students to make sense of what they learn and apply knowledge. Understand why reading and writing improves with a conscious effort to apply knowledge of science, social studies and mathematics.
